CRAIG JOHRING (MEXICO CITY)

Craig Johring moved to Mexico City in 2006 to evangelize on college campuses. Over time, Craig found a love for the poor and made that the focus of his mission. Since then, he has invested in several homeless communities, connected countless organizations and donors with people in need, and hosted hundreds of college students in Mexico City. Craig has changed the lives of nearly a dozen young men by providing shelter, addiction counseling, and meaningful employment. He is changing hearts and saving the lives of the poorest of the poor.

Originally from Nebraska, he now lives in the heart of Mexico City serving the poor daily and matches resources with those in need. Craig raises 100% of his salary and all of the expenses for Hope of the Poor. He needs mission partners who share a love for people and Jesus Christ to support the efforts of Hope of the Poor.

Craig has pours his life into the people of Mexico City. He sees Jesus Christ in the faces of the poor and his mission is to bring hope and light into the darkest mission fields. His radical belief that the key to ending poverty lies in personal relationships stems from the bible verse “Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me” Mt 25:40. Craig’s mission is fully funded by monthly supporters who believe in his cause. Would you like to join Craig on his mission to bring hope to the poor? Every donation makes a difference.
